Brea, Calif. (March 19, 2007) --- Veterinary Pet Insurance, the nation’s oldest and largest provider of pet health insurance, announced today that it is opening a claims processing center in Denver, with the goal of being operational by the end of May 2007. The company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, currently has no locations outside of Brea, Calif.

“Veterinary Pet Insurance has experienced tremendous growth over the last several years, and our current facilities are filled to capacity,” explains Louis Caron, VPI’s chief financial officer. “VPI claims processing requires staff that has training and experience in veterinary medicine, and Denver has a higher percentage of available veterinary technicians and other qualified candidates as compared to other metropolitan areas.”

In addition to offering a highly-trained and available workforce, Denver was also selected by VPI for its expansion location in order to better serve customers in the Central and Eastern time zones. The facility, located at 1325 S. Colorado Blvd., Suite 606, will initially employ approximately 25 claims specialists.
